Ohio County Healthcare Affiliation with Norton Healthcare

The goal of this collaboration is to enhance convenient, close-to-home specialty care while retaining local ownership under the guidance of local leaders.

Through our tele-medicine capabilities with Norton Healthcare, patients at Ohio County Healthcare will receive increased access to prevention, detection and treatment services from Norton Healthcare physician specialists in pulmonology, neurology, hematology-oncology, infectious disease, and pediatrics.

It also allows for better coordination of continuity of care for patients who require sub-specialized or tertiary care and need to seek that care outside of the communities served by Ohio County Healthcare.

This will include resources such as enhanced use of the Norton Healthcare Access Center, which serves as a single point of access for patients, families and physicians, to connect with physicians and services available through Norton Healthcare. One phone number is all you need.
